How are Baobab Collection candles and diffusers made?Updated 7 months ago
Baobab Collection scented candles and home fragrances combine exceptional craftsmanship with the highest quality raw materials.
Craftsmanship
Each Baobab Collection scented candle is handcrafted with the utmost care. The vases are mouth-blown or hand-decorated by craftsmen with unique skills. Each glass is therefore unique. The scented wax is poured delicately by hand. A Baobab Collection candle may require up to six successive layers of wax, equivalent to four days' production.
Once poured, the candles are gently cleaned. They receive their own label, and a black ribbon is applied by hand. They are then packed in their case.
You can find out more about the creation process for our silkscreen, raffia, metallization, ceramic and sublimation collections in the “Our know-how” section.
Raw materials
The materials we use are meticulously selected to offer you a scented candle of the highest possible quality. All components are sourced in Europe.
We have chosen the purest wax on the market, made in Germany. The glass is mouth-blown in Poland, the ceramic candles are made in Portugal and the Egyptian cotton wicks are assembled in Germany. Our cooperative in Madagascar manufactures our raffia collections. Last but not least, the fragrances are developed by the best aroma companies located in Grasse and Spain.
